Where to? Nuluh Lapai
We always hike in the morning, over the weekend. We do not have any intention to catch-up with the sunrise or sunset in the evening. We just want to sweat ourselves and enjoy the nature early morning.
How to get there?
Nowadays you easily get anywhere in the world using very useful apps, just by pointing your finger on your smartphone. For the first timer, to those using waze, you may search for Gayang Seafood Restaurant. Nuluh Lapai hill right opposite the Gayang. Easy peasy right. ;)
How was the difficulty level?
Good for beginner, but just don't underestimate. Not to demotivate you, it was a good workout tho.
For a new timer, you don't need a guide to hike but with a companion will be good. There is two access to climb the hill, you won't get lost easily as long you stay on the trail.
It always breathtaking whenever you hike in the morning, if the weather permit Mount Kinabalu may greet you from far.
